On Wednesday, February 17th, 2010, the acclaimed Ngarrindjeri, Pitjantjarra, Kookatha singer and songwriter, Ruby Hunter, aged 54, passed away suddenly at home in south west Victoria in the arms of her lifelong partner, Archie Roach, surrounded by family.

The family wishes to have their privacy respected in this time of profound grief. however the family approve the usage of the below image and have given permission for radio to play her music in her memory.

 Miranda Lamberts latest CD called Revolution has already one hit single from it called White Lie - this is Lamberts 3rd CD and this one has her fans reeling with excitement.  Full of spirit it has some big songs and a couple of more mellow numbers.

Her soaring vocals stand out very strongly - its something we have come to expect from this young perfromer who has already made of presence felt at the Grand Ole Opre - and she will soon do a big concert there.
